School of Public Health
At SPH we use a data-driven approach for evaluating web content and navigation. Our goal is to provide useful information that highlights the research and educational opportunities in public health. The primary audience is prospective students.
Our communications team focuses on creating content that is easy to read and find. Landing pages are written for the general public and therefore are easy to translate to another language. The reading level of stories are targeted for a college sophomore -- when undergraduates apply for a major.

We've created this list so it will be easier to find examples of sites running on Drupal at UW.
We've kept it very simple so it will be easy to maintain.
Department of Medicine
The Department of Medicine has a website framework that supports 19 Drupal sites, with more in progress. The directories and the fellowship application information are the most visited sections. The framework leverages Drupal's Features module to share configuration in the multisite environment, though they are currently exploring alternatives to this practice and are excited about the options in Drupal 8.
Department of Classics
This site is part of the College of Arts & Sciences Department Web Framework, a series of sites managed by the College's web services team. The web team partners with academic units to provide design, training, and technical support, so that unit staff can focus on their content and communication strategies. As of April 2019, there are 31 departments using the framework.
Transportation Services
Serving over 20,000 users a month, the Transportation Services website delivers tools and information to the UW community and visitors on key topics like getting to campus,getting around campus (and surrounding areas) and parking. With more than 70 transportation products including the U-PASS (a regional transit pass), bike enclosures and parking permits, finding the right product can be a challenge. Harnessing Drupal tools like mega menus, Panels and Views, the website cultivates clear, concise and well-organized content.
College of Education
This is the main site for the UW's College of Education, which houses over thirty programs spanning undergradauate and graduate studies and teacher preparation programs.
The site's architecture and functionality are weighted heavily towards responding to the needs and interests of prospective students. The site has over 10,000 nodes, 300 editors, with 10+ roles and 20+ content types.
